I’ll be attending the Digital Influencers Marketing Summit on September 29, 2012. It will be held at SMEX Convention Center, Pasay City. I stumbled upon the event via Twitter update, and registered for the early-bird rate. This is my second time to attend a summit. I wish Pasay is just around the corner. I’ll be traveling all the way from Pampanga. Anyway, I believe it’s going to be worth it just like The 8th Philippine Blogging Summit last May.
It’s about ideas, network and experience. Above all, I’m after the nuggets of wisdom I would glean from the speakers. The event is very timely. Something unprecedented happened few weeks ago, and it didn’t stop there. I started giving value to my work and honing my skills to become better in my trade.
This journey is not an overnight success. I decided to pursue this trade. And from that decision, I learn that everyday is always a battle. Whenever I wake up, arrows of discouragements and doubts keep coming. And it dawned on me. No one is going to help me to become a Pro. It’s a choice. I choose to move forward and step out of my comfort zone. I choose uncomfortable things for me to learn.
I believe this event is very timely. And I know I’ll learn from the speakers.
Influencers and successful people have in common: both are humble and teachable. And I bet you will be one in the future…
