What does it take to become a writer?

Stop staring on that blank page and start writing. Don’t wait for the inspiration to come, be an inspiration to others and stop making excuses.
Dan Poynter once said,
If you wait for inspiration to write, you’re not a writer, you’re a waiter.
And I believe the world is waiting to read your story. Quite frankly, there’s a price to pay.
My challenge is this: anyone who wants to become one must experience the process of becoming one. You have to face the rejections, criticisms, and discouragements. Not to mention the sleepless nights and endless deadlines you have to meet, yet despite of these, you will never give up.
Great writers don’t settle for small stories because they desire something better, a larger story beyond their experience and imagination.
